This beautiful park is home to the Byram Shore Boat Club. Other features of Byram Shore park include baseball fields, picnic tables.
Babcock Preserve is open year round, sunrise to sunset, this largest of the Greenwich Town parks stretches between North Street and Lake Avenue. Access and parking is off North Street about .5 mile north of the Merritt Parkway. The entrance way with its attractive stone wall and low plantings was donated by the Greenwich Garden Club.
Bible Street Park is a neighborhood park within walking distance of Cos Cob School, Cos Cob Community Center and the Montgomery Pinetum. Today, the park boasts athletic fields, two baseball diamonds, two tennis courts, a basketball court and a fenced playground. But, according to historians, the site once served a very different purpose.
Binney park offers a playground and seasonal ice rink, in addition to three ball fields and four tennis courts. Permits are required for field and court use and reservation. Ten acres of natural trails were purchased and deeded to the town by Helen Binney Kitchel and Dan Wade, the local architect who designed the adjacent Perrot Memorial Library. Parking is available.
A variety of activities are possible in Bruce Park, including walking and jogging on a marked and measured trail, bicycling, and picnicking. The Greenwich Lawn Bowling Association maintains a bowling green and organizes games. Three tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a baseball diamond, and playgrounds are also available.
